Chap leather, like garment leather, is smooth on one side and suede on the other. It is a heavier, less supple material than suede or garment leather. Chap is often used for motorcycle leggings because of the mix of strength and flexibility. This has the capacity to create a sensation which is primarily a heavy thud.
Our floggers are standardly eighteen inches long with three quarter inch wide falls. The number of falls per flogger may vary depending on the thickness and texture of the leather involved.
