Rug Beater

This is one of our nastiest toys. We call it a rug beater since it is based on the almost forgotten tools utilized to clean rugs in the ‘good old days’. It is a stiff, but slightly pliable core covered in tightly braided garment leather. The rug beater is about 15 ½” long overall, and the handle is oval shaped and about 5” long, terminating in a herringbone knot and a braided leather hanging loop. The face is about 71/2” long by 4 ½” at its widest point and terminates is a tightly braided herringbone knot. This toy has a remarkable amount of weight behind it giving each swing plenty of oomph.
